NIGERIAN Singer and CEO of Marlian Records, Naira Marley, has seen thousands of his followers on Instagram unfollow him recently.
Marley is believed to have lost as much as 100,000 followers as at time of writing this report.
This comes on the backdrop of the death of his former label Artiste, Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad.
Mohbad died in controversial circumstances on Tuesday September 12, 2023.
Allegations are rife that Naira Marley had a role to play in the death of the Rapper.
Recent evidences uncovered shows the late Rapper crying out over alleged Intimidation by Naira Marley, as well his ally, Samson Balogun aka Sam Larry.
The news of the death and the circumstances surrounding it has now had a negative light on Naira Marley, with many leading a mass exodus away from his social media handles.
AfriqueCan also learnt that show promoters have begun cancelling the Record Label and its acts.
The Elegushi Royal family has also put out a disclaimer against the said ally, Sam Larry.
The Eiye Confraternity has also denied having any association with both Naira Marley and ally, Sam Larry.
The Police has since promises to open an investigation into the death of Mohbad even as the Rapper was hastily buried a day after his death despite not being a Muslim by faith.
