Mohbad: Massive Protests in Oyo

A massive protest engulfed Oyo state as residents marched in agitation of the death of late Nigerian Rapper, Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad.

The state capital was gridlocked as the protesters made the procession, on Wednesday, through the metropolis chanting in protest.

Mohbad passed away on Tuesday September 12, 2023 in mysterious circumstances.

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has vowed to carry out a thorough investigation into the death of the late Artiste.

The Police, earlier this week, instituted a 13-man special team to that effect, promising to engage the services of Interpol as well.

In addition, the Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, revealed that he has invited the Directorate of State Services (DSS) into the investigation.

The death of the Rapper has left many Nigerians heartbroken, with tributes pouring in from both home and abroad.

Following his death, the late Rapper’s former music label Boss, Naira Marley, CEO of Marlian Records, has been allegedly fingered as the mastermind of the death.

Naira Marley’s ally, Sam Larry, has also been accused of playing a key role in the late Singer’s death, with videos circulating showing the latter allegedly assaulting Mohbad while on a music set with fellow Artiste, Zlatan.

Earlier in the week, Abeokuta, Ogun state, witnessesld mass protests against the late Singer’s death.

The protests have now spread to Ibadan, Oyo state, with reports of areas in Lagos State also joining in.
