Mohbad: Forensic Examination of Rapper’s Death Set For Friday
FORENSIC examination into the cause of the death of late Nigerian Artiste, Oladimeji Aloba Promise aka Mohbad, has been set for Friday, September 29, at the Magistrate Court sitting in Ikorodu, Lagos.
This much was disclosed by Magistrate Taofikat Shotobi, in a letter forwarded to the law firm, Falana and Falana Chambers.
The law firm had, on September 18th, 2023, forwarded a letter to the Chief Coroner of the High Court of Lagos State, Justice Mojisola Dada, requesting the inquest into the controversial death of the Rapper.
In line with the provisions of Sections 14 and 15 of the Coroner’s System Law of Lagos State, Cap C15, Laws of Lagos State 2015, the Coroner notified the firm that it had the direction of the Chief Coroner of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Mojisola Dada, to order the inquest.
Mohbad passed away on Tuesday September 12, 2023 in controversial circumstances.
His death has led to an investigation by the Nigerian Police.
The body of the late Rapper was exhumed days ago, with the public patiently waiting on the results of an autopsy carried out on the body.
