CHELSEA’S Vice-Captain, Ben Chilwell, is set for a four weeks spell due to injury.
This was disclosed by Journalist, Nizaarr Kinsella, on Friday morning.
The defender suffered a hamstring injury in the blues 1-0 victory against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
There are growing fears that the player estimated time of recovery could be longer, though, those fears have been allayed nu sources close to the club.
The club’s official statement, though, is that the injury is still being “accessed.”
The news will come as a blow to Chelsea, who already have their Captain, Reece James, out on injury.
Several other high profile names out for the Blues imclude: Benoit Badiashile, Christopher Nkunku, Romeo Lavia and many others.
Chelsea next play Fulham in a London derby in the English Premier League (EPL) next week Monday.
