NIGERIAN President, Bola Tinubu has written to the Senate, seeking its confirmation of three more ministerial nominees.
Tinubu’s letter was read by the country’s Senate President, Godswill Akpabio when the lawmakers resumed plenary session on Tuesday.
The Nigerian President is seeking confirmation of nominees Balarabe Abbas Lawal – Kaduna, Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim – Kwara, and Mr Ayodele Olawande – Ondo.
It would be recalled that after screening and confirming 45 ministerial nominees in August 2023, the lawmakers failed to accept the nominations of three individuals, including former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai. The other two were Stella Okotete – Delta and Abubakar Danladi – Taraba.
