OPERATIVES of the FCT Police Command have arrested the second most wanted kidnapper, Samaila Wakili Fafa.
According to the FCT CP, Benneth Igweh, who made this known during a chat with journalists in Abuja on Tuesday, on Tuesday, said Fafa, popularly known as Habu Ibrahim, was arrested at the kidnappers’ den in Sadauna Forest, Nasarawa State.
“You can recall that the suspect is one of the two notorious kidnappers the Honourable Minister of the FCT, Nyemso Wike, placed a N20m bounty aon, as the other one, Saidu Abdulkadir, alias Dahiru Adamu, had earlier been arrested by the command,” the CP said.
Igweh said that the suspect had confessed that he masterminded and executed several kidnappings in the FCT and its environs, including the abduction of one Barrister Chris Agidy, a legal aide to Senator Ned Nwoko, and the late District Head of Ketti, Mr Sunday Yahaya Zakwai.
According to him, the suspect led police operatives to where the remains of Barrister Chris Agidy were dumped.
He noted that the body was removed and deposited at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada.
