FORMER Vice President, Atiku Abubakar on Wednesday met behind closed doors with ex-governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi.
The meeting was held at Amaechi’s Abuja residence.
The meeting may be connected to the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential ticket. Although there’re no reports confirming that.
Meanwhile, it’s an open secret that the former River State Governor, just like Atiku, and Peter Obi, also former governor of Anambra State, are battling to grab the ticket ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
Unconfirmed rumour claims that Amaechi may step down for Atiku and serve as his running mate.
