Arsenal Retain EPL Lead After Nketia Late Goal Sinks Manchester United

ARSENAL’S chase at Premier League tittle after nearly twenty years is looking brighter week-in-week-out after another deserved win against Manchester United on Sunday.

Playing in front of increasingly optimistic fans at the Emirates, the Gunners came back within seven minutes from being a goal down after Marcus Rashford fired Manchester United in front with a stunning low strike after only 17 minute. Eddie Nketiah scored for the home team.

Bukayo Saka put Arsenal ahead eight minutes after the break.

Lisandro Martinez headed home his first goal after keeper Aaron Ramsdale dropped a corner to level for the Red Devils.

United were left bitterly disappointment after Nketiah scored his second goal of the day in the 90th-minute to hand the visitors a fifth loss, so far, this season.

The result means Arsenal retained control of the Premier League tittle race, staying five points clear off current champions Manchester City, who had earlier in the day beaten visiting Wolves 3-0.
