… To Deliver Lecture On Climate Change
VICE President Yemi Osinbajo left Abuja for the United States of America – U.S.A, where he is scheduled to deliver a Special Lecture at the University of Pennsylvania, UPenn in Philadelphia.
According to a statement by his media aide, Laolu Akande, Osinbajo will lecture on Monday with the theme “Climate Change and a Just Transition.’’
The event will be hosted by the University’s Center for Africana Studies.
The Vice President is also expected to participate in an interactive session with students.
Osinbajo is currently spearheading efforts aimed at creating the African Carbon Market as one of the pathways of a just and sustainable transition.
He is expected back in Abuja right after his engagements in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania.
