President of the Nigerian Senate, Godswill Akpabior, has unveiled the 74 standing committees of the Senate and the Chairpersons heading them.
This was made known to the public on Tuesday.
Ex Governor of Sokoto, Aminu Tambuwal, heads the committee on Housing and Development.
Former Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, heads the committee on Defence.
Orji Uzor Kalu heads the committee on Privatization, while former Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, heads the committee on Interior.
Senator Isa Jibrin chairs the Senate Committee on Customs Excise and Tariff, while Senator Ishaku Elisha heads the Senate Committee on Cooperation and Integration NEPAD.
The Senate Committee on Anti-corruption and Financial Crimes is chaired by Senator Udende Emmanuel.
Senator Akwashiki Godiya chairs the Senate Committee on Air Force.
Senate Committee on capital market is headed by Senator Osita Izunaso.
Senator Buhari Abdulfatai heads the Senate Committee on Aviation.
Senate Committee on ecology and climate change is chaired by Senator Seriake Dickson, while Senator Cyril Fasuyi chairs the Senate Committee on establishment and public services.
