CHELSEA Football Club has reached an agreement with Brighton for Midfielder, Moises Caicedo.
The Blues agreed a British transfer fee for the Ecuadorian defensive midfielder worth £115m late Sunday night.
The deal sees Brighton receive an initial £100m base fee, with £15m in add-ons.
Ciacedo signs on an 8yr deal running through to June 2031 with an option until 2032.
Brighton has also included a sell-on clause to the deal.
Medical tests are set to follow as early as Monday morning.
Chelsea had hoped to strike the deal earlier in order to unveil him at Sunday’s game against Liverpool which the Blues drew 1-1.
All parties will be happy this transfer saga has come to an end after a week of bids and counter bids by Liverpool and Chelsea for the combative midfielder.
