John Enoh Pledges to Revamp Sports in Nigeria

THE Minister of Sports, Senator John Enoh, has vowed to revamps the sports sector in the country.

The Minister made this pledge on Wednesday while inspecting the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

Enoh carried out an inspection tour on some facilities that fell under the earmarked ‘Package A.’

The facilities included: The main bowl pitch of the stadium; its Velodrome; its Federations and Elite Athletes Development (FEAD) building; its Power Technical building and; its Facilities Building.

The ‘Package B’ part of the Stadium was also visited, with its facilities including: The Indoor Sports Hall, sports medicine department, swimming pool, the Goal Project Pitch, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) building, and the public Car park among others.

It will be recalled Enoh and 44 other ministers were, on Monday, sworn into office at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, by President Bola Tinubu.

The President gave his famous “hit the ground running” speech to inspire them to carry out their duties effectively.
