THE Benue State North-East Election Petition Tribunal has sacked the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s Senator Emmanuel Udende as the Senator-elect.
In its ruling on Friday evening, the Tribunal, instead, returned Senator Gabriel Suswam of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared APC’s Udende as the February 26 senatorial election in Benue North-East.
That decision has now been upturned by the Tribunal, with Suswam now adjudged the rightful winner.
