ONE of the National Youth Service Corps – NYSC, members kidnapped along the Kabba–Lokoja road in Kogi State, has regained her freedom after spending days in the hands of their abductors.
Sandra Sunday along with others, were reportedly kidnapped while travelling through the Kogi after her orientation camp.
The incident sparked concerns among Nigerians over the safety of young graduates posted for national service.
Although details surrounding her release remain sketchy at the time of filing this report, her family expressed gratitude to God and everyone who contributed to efforts that led to her freedom.
The news comes as relatives of other victims and concerned Nigerians continue to hope for the safe return of those still in captivity.
