NIGERIAN lawmakers have said that Abuja, the nation’s capital is under threat.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio, while expressing concern over insecurity in the country on Wednesday, said that the Federal Capital Territory – FCT, has been infiltrated.
Akpabio buttressed his point with references to attacks in Kubwa, Bwari, among other parts of Abuja.
Last week, the Senate summoned security chiefs to brief it on the spate of insecurity in Nigeria and effort to address the menace.
The invitation came as there was a spike in killings and kidnappings in many parts of the country, including the FCT.
