NIGERIA men’s national football team, Super Eagles have been drawn against hosts, Cote d’Ivoire in Group A of the 2023 African Cup of Nations – AFCON.
Other teams in group A in the draw held at the Parc Des Expositions in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire on Thursday are Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea.
Notable among African football legends at the occasion are Mikel Obi, Taribo West, and Yaya Toure.
The Super Eagles last battled the hosts in South Africa in 2013, where the late Stephen Keshi tutored boys beat the Elephants 2-1 in the quarter-finals.
