CANDIDATE of the All Progressives Party – APC, Ahmed Aliyu has won in Sokoto State.
Aliyu was officially declared the winner of the Sokoto State Governorship election after recording a total of 453661 votes.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission – INEC, Saidu Umar of the PDP polled a total vote of 404632 to come second.
