Athletico Rejects Al Hihal Bid For João Felix
Spanish side, Athletico Madrid, has turned down an offered from Saudi Arabian outfit, Al Hihal, for João Felix.
The offer, which came in late Tuesday night, was a loan bid.
Athletico insist on selling the Portuguese on a permanent deal rather than a temporary loan.
Felix has his heart set on a move to FC Barcelona and has since voiced his wishes of joining the Catalan club.
The player, it is understood, will only consider a move to Saudi Arabia on a temporary basis.
Al Hihal Coach, Jorge Jesus, is believed to have close ties with the player and is using his influence to engineer the move.
Al Hihal will, now, have to return with a permanent bid for the player and hope Felix changes his mind.
