PORTUGUESE midfielder, Bernardo Silva has spoken after extending his contract with reigning Premier League winners, Manchester City.
The contract extension that will see Silva stay till June 2026 was signed on Wednesday evening.
The tricky midfielder had this to say: “Here at Manchester City I can keep winning. I love the club, the manager, teammates, fans.
“I’m delighted to extend my time here. It’s exciting to be part of a squad where there is such a hunger and passion.”
Silva’s extension with Pep Guardiola’s side puts an end to speculation about his possible move to Spanish outfit, FC Barcelona.
