CHELSEA youngster, Cesare Casadei, is on the verge of moving to Leicester City on loan.
It appears the English Championship side have won the race to sign the highly rated young star on a temporary basis till the summer of 2024.
It was a two-horse race between Leicester and Italian top flight team, Genoa.
The pull of fellow Italian and Leicester Coach, Enzo Maresca, did the trick.
Casadei comes highly rated and has won the Player of The Tournament and Highest Goal Scorer in the last U20 World Cup.
The Italian will now look to impress on loan with a view to returning to Pochettino’s Chelsea side next season.
