Chelsea’s Kepa Real Madrid Loan Finalized
THE transfer of Chelsea Goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga, to Real Madrid has now been finalized.
The club made this known on their official website on Tuesday.
The deal is on a straight loan, no obligation or option to buy.
The Spanish Goalkeeper has set his sights on proving himself and earning a permanent transfer afterwards.
He made this declaration while speaking on the transfer.
“I hope that with my performances Real Madrid will decide to keep me after the loan.
“This club is legendary,” Kepa said.
Real Madrid President, Florentiono Perez, spoke in glowing terms about the shotstopper.
“Kepa had big offers on the table but he decided to join us — he only wanted Real Madrid,” Perez said.
The move for the Chelsea Keeper became necessary for the Spanish giants after first choice Goalie, Thibaut Courtois, went down with an ACL injury in training.
The Belgian was subsequently stretched off and will now miss the entire season.
