PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu’s school documents have been released to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party – PDP, Atiku Abubakar.
Atiku, a former Vice President, had approached the US District Court in Northern Illinois to compel the Chicago State University – CSU, to release Tinubu’s academic records. He had argued that it would boost his suit challenging the President’s election in the February 25 presidential poll.
The judge ruled, saying “for the foregoing reasons, the court overrules President Tinubu’s objections to Magistrate Judge Gilbert’s recommended ruling, and therefore, adopts the ruling in full.
In compliance with court order, the CSU released the documents to Atiku on Monday.
Tinubu had supplied certificates from the Chicago State University, CSU, to the Independent National Electoral Commission – INEC, to secure eligibility to participate in the election.
