THE inauguration of the 7th assembly and election of speaker and deputy speaker in Nasarawa State did not take place as planned on Tuesday due to security concerns.
The postponement became imminent after two people emerged as leaders of the 7th House of Assembly in the State. They are: Ibrahim Balarabe and Daniel Ogazi both from western zone of the state.
They are both members of the All Progressives Congress – APC.
Meanwhile, the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule thereafter received Balarabe and his Deputy, Jacob Kudu.
Balarabe and Kudu were accompanied to the State House In Lafia by other members of his faction.
