A Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ilorin, Kwara State has denied the bail application of Isese activist and (traditionalist) practitioner, Adegbola Abdulazeez aka Tani Olohun.
The ruling on the Activist’s bail application was made on Tuesday, AfriqueCan reports.
The court ruled that, should Tani Olohun be granted bail, their is a likelihood of the Activist skipping bail .
The Court also ruled that a large chunk of the defence counsel’s bail application was fraught with plagiarism.
Recall that, earlier, the police in Kwara State, had confirmed that the arrest warrant used to seize Adegbola Abdulazeez was fraudulent.
The state police command, through its spokesperson, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, disclosed that had no clue which court issues the fake warrant.
The Activist was arraigned before a magistrate court in Ilorin on August 17 and was subsequently remanded till October 5.
AfriqueCan have also gathered that family and loved ones of the Activist have been denied access to Tani Olohun by prison officials in Kwara State.
