Court Dismisses Peter Obi’s Drug Petition Against Tinubu

THE Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, (PEPT) has dismissed Peter Obi’s drug indictment against President Bola Tinubu.

The tribunal ruled that the petition by the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi lacked merit.

The ruling was served on Wednesday evening.

Chairman of the Tribunal, Justice Haruna Tsammani, ruled that Obi and his party, the Labour Party – LP, failed to prove that Tinubu was convicted of money laundering in the United States of America.

The court said that no record of criminal arrest or conviction was established against Tinubu.
