Court Remands Traditionalist, Taniolorun in Jail Till September

A Chief Magistrate Court n Kwara State has ruled that Isese (traditional religion) practitioner and activist, Adegbola Abdulazeez, aka Taniolorun , be remanded in jail till September 4th, 2023.

The Court ruled thus on Wednesday.

The Court refused Taniolorun’s bail application request before adjourning till the said date.

Also present for trial before the magistrate in Ilorin was another defendant, Baba Oluwo Tade.

“The court has adjourned the case till September 4 and ordered that Taniolorun should be remanded till then,” an unnamed source present at the hearing informed Media House, Sahara.

Talolorun is alleged to have insulted the Emir of Ilorin and inciting a war between traditionalist and Muslim clerics.

The Activist was also alleged to have burnt the Quran.

The Activist was arrested on these charges 5days ago.
