THE ousted President of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba, has cried out for help following the Coup in the Central African country.
Bongo’s cry for help comes 24hrs after military junta in the country forcefully removed him as President.
He made this call in a viral video on Wednesday.
The deposed leader is being held under house arrest, with his son and wife being held in different locations.
“My name is Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of Gabon.
“I am sending a message to all friends that we have all over the world, to tell them to make noise, to make noise,” Bongo said in the 1minute long video making the rounds online.
The Military Junta will point to the controversial elections that were held over the weekend as one of the reasons for their actions.
In their coup speech, they announced the dissolution of all institutions in the country.
