MEDIA entrepreneur, Oladotun Kayode aka Do2tun, has berated mourners for extending the Candlelight procession of Mohbad to Lekki tollgate area of Lagos state.
This comes after reports that the Nigerian Police fired teargas at mourners at candlelight procession held in honour of the late Nigerian Rapper, Oladimeji Aloba Promise aka Mohbad.
Do2tun made his feelings on the recent development known via his Instagram account late Thursday night.
AfriqueCan had earlier reported that a mourner was allegedly shot on the leg by the Police as shown in a video circulating on social media.
The On-Air-Personality (OAP) has however pointed out that the procession was concluded at Muri Okunola park over 3hrs before the alleged shooting and teargas incident.
He also noted that the procession did not extend to Lekki tollgate, while explaining that the motive of the convergence was for the candlelight and not to carry out a protest.
“Honesty over Honesty, Nigerians do not listen. We do the most.
“This procession ended at Muri Okunola park over 3hrs ago. We ended and all left. Some still went to converge at Lekki tollgate.
“It is not a protest; it is a candlelight procession,” he wrote.
