POLICE in Benue State have confirmed the killing of the Otukpo
A Divisional Police Officer -, in Benue State, John Adikwu and three others have been confirmed dead after a gun battle with armed robbers.
Many other people also lost their lives within and outside the bank premises following the incident along the Otukpo/Taraku Federal Highway on Friday.
Spokesperson for the command, SP Sewuese Anene, said in a press statement issued on Saturday, that two of the bank robbers were killed during the gun battle.
SP Anene further noted that the police are currently on the heels of the suspects with a view to apprehend them.
