Edo Deputy Gov. Storms Out of State Event After Being Denied Entry

THE Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, was seen walking out of a state event after he was initially denied access to the venue on Monday.

Shaibu was attending the 60th anniversary of the Midwest referendum organised by the state government in Benin.

The Deputy Governor was, however, denied entry into the event venue on arrival.

In a video circulating online, Shaibu can be seen in a heated debate with security officials present after his media team were prevented from gaining entry.

The incident highlights the ongoing feud between Shaibu and the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki.

The Governor has recently called out his Deputy for trying to steer confusion in the state through his actions.
