Endurance Ezeigbe Otansowe was arrested on April 12, 2024 by Evbotubu police division following an intelligence report.
According to the spokesperson of the command, Chidi Nwabuzor, who disclosed this to newsmen in Benin, the divisional police officer in charge of Evbotubu received information about cult activities, resulting in a stop and search operation in the area.
“During the operation, the police accosted and arrested the suspect with one Branil pistol,” he said.
Nwabuzor said that the suspect during investigation confirmed being in possession of illegal weapon.
