FORMER Minister of Education, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, has offered the Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, tips on governance.
She gave this advice on Tuesday at the unveiling of the Abia State Orientation Agency in Umuahia.
While giving the anniversary lecture to mark the 2023 Abia Day celebration and the inauguration of the Abia State Orientation Agency, Ezekwesili called on the Governor to formulate good policies that will aid the fulfilment of his administration’s goals and objectives.
She also pointed out that the use of technology will also be of great benefit to the Abia Governor in running the state.
“Using technology to promote all government businesses is critical to good governance hence Otti should not shy away from running a technology-driven government,” Ezekwesili stated.
“A lot is expected from Abia, given its huge potentials in human capital and natural resources waiting to be maximised by a visionary leader,” she emphasized.
The Abia State Governor, while speaking at the unveiling, called for every stakeholder to key into his administration’s drive.
According to Otti, even the best leaders will find it hard to achieve success without the right support system around him.
