Ganduje Accuses Emefiele of ‘Revenge’ After Failing to Win APC Presidential Ticket 

KANO STATE Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State says the Central Bank of Nigeria – CBN boss, Godwin Emefiele, intentionally introduced the change of Naira notes policy because his presidential ambition failed.

Ganduje claimed on Friday that Emefiele did not want the elections to take place.

It will be recalled that earlier in the same week, the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai had alleged that some individuals in Aso Rock were not supporting Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the  ruling All Progessives Congress – APC.

Ganduje, who spoke after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, the number-one citizen had been warned  that redesigning the naira would result in difficulties.
