AT least four policemen were killed in a fresh attack by gunmen in Imo State, authorities said on Friday.
The Imo State Police Command confirmed that two civilians were also killed along Okpala Junction in Ngorokpala Local Government Area of the South-Eastern state.
According to Police Public Relations Officer, Henry Okoye, the incident happened in the early hours of Friday.
Okoye said the attacks occurred when the police team attached to Mbaise/Ngorokpala Area Command were on patrol in the area.
