I Won’t Honour EFCC Invitation – VeryDarkMan

AfriqueCAN

ACTIVIST Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, says he will not honour an invitation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission – EFCC, over an allegation of corruption leveled against officials of the agency.

VeryDarkBlackmanMan had in a video played an audio recording purportedly belonging to social media personality, Idris Okuneye, wherein the latter said in a phone conversation that he paid N15 million to EFCC officials to have a money laundering charge against him dropped.

In an apparent response to the claim, the EFCC, in a letter, invited both VeryDarkMan and Bobrisky to its Lagos office to “assist investigators unearth the alleged bribery.”

However, in another video on Wednesday, VeryDarkMan, said he would not honour the invite to Lagos.

“Before you (EFCC) invite someone like me, do a deep investigation on your officers first. When you get the result from your officers who handled Bobrisky’s file, then you can invite me.

“You are telling me to come to Lagos and the headquarters of EFCC is in Abuja; it makes no sense. You should, instead, invite Bobrisky to Abuja and do your investigation.

“Lastly, why I would not go to Lagos is that I don’t have N15 million to pay for anything. I don’t have any godfathers anywhere and I don’t want to be framed. I don’t trust you and I won’t go (to Lagos),” he concluded.
