Cheating is not gender specific. Cheating isn’t synonymous to men. Women cheat too. Cheating isn’t restricted to single women only. Married women cheat too. Women stray just like men and being married doesn’t mean they won’t.
For crying out loud, marriage won’t make a woman blind. Marriage doesn’t stop a woman from getting attractive to men and it won’t stop their emotions from running wild. The only difference about women is that when they cheat, they are more discreet, and they tread with caution. So, even if your wife has ever cheated or is cheating on you, you might never be able to tell.
But as always, I am here to help and I know I am betraying my gender as I write this. Well, my apologies if you feel betrayed. My job isn’t to be biassed.
So, if you think your wife might be sneaking around behind your back and you want to beam the light on the truth, here are signs you should watch out for.
She is no longer interested in having sex:
Well, if she is always tired and gives you excuses when you are both in between the sheets, then there might be a problem. Some women might give you sex, but they won’t be present while having sex with you. If there is no connection or she is calling someone’s name during intercourse, then she is seeing someone.
She pays more attention to her appearance:
It is a good thing when a woman pays extra attention to herself, but it might also mean that she is emotionally and physically entangled with another person. Watch her closely if she is frequenting the gym lately or she is changing her wardrobe.
She changes her password and becomes secretive:
Most women share their phones with their children. If your wife suddenly begins to hide her phones that even her kids no longer have access to it, then there might be trouble in paradise. Is she making sneaky calls? Is she speaking late in the night to people you barely know? If your wife changes her password or spends more time on the phone chatting away while the home is suffering, dear, hubby watch your back.
She gets provoked easily and picks fights with you. Even in healthy relationships, arguments are bound to happen. However, if your wife begins to get angry with little or no provocation, she might be doing you dirty at your back.
She brings in expensive things to the house:
If she has been bringing in unexplainable expensive items into the house, then something fishy is going on. Even if she is buying you expensive gifts or taking you on luxury dates all these might be red flags.
She always prefers to go out alone:
Do you remember how clingy your wife was? Lately, does she want her privacy and prefers to spend time alone? If you have noticed she is always coming late from work or always in traffic, then there might be trouble looming. Well, she might not be alone after all, someone is taking your place already and she enjoys that company better than yours.
Dear husbands, be attentive. The signs are there but the majority of you are not sensitive like women are, if a woman is distant or no longer cares about you, then she might be with someone else.
Lastly, these signs don’t mean you should draw a conclusion that your wife is cheating. It might mean something else that needs your attention. Pay attention to your wives.
