AT least three persons have been killed following an attack on a village in Zamfara State.
About 51 other villagers, including a district head, were also kidnapped by the armed men in other parts of the State in the incident which occurred on Tuesday.
The Village Head, Malam Abubakar Uba, who confirmed the attack, said the gunmen kidnapped the district head before proceeding to kidnap dozens of others in the village.
“They stormed the village on dozens of motorcycles, and their first stop was the District’s Head residence.
“A few of them took him away with three members of his household before they entered the town and unleashed more harm”, Uba stated.
