Killers of Imo Cops Declared Wanted

THE Imo State Police Command has declared the gunmen who attacked and killed some cops and civilians in the state wanted.

The victims were attacked at the Ohii junction located on the Owerri-Orlu Road on Monday.

“This is a very unfortunate incident. The Commissioner of Police Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma, condemns the barbaric attack and senseless acts of violence in totality. He has deployed the command’s Tactical Team to go all out in synergy with other sister security agencies and hunt down the hoodlums responsible for the attack and killing of one police officer and two civilians along Owerri-Orlu Road on 29/1/2024,’’ the spokesperson for the command, Henry Okoye said.

“The CP vowed that no stone would be left unturned in ensuring that the perpetrators were all arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.

“While praying for the repose of the souls of the deceased, the CP calls on well-meaning residents of Imo State who may have any useful information that may lead to the arrest of the hoodlums responsible for the attack to kindly report at the nearest police station or via the command’s emergency line 08034773600 or 08098880197.

“Let us collaboratively work towards stamping out all forms of violent crime in the state.”
