English Right back, Kyle Walker, is close to agreeing a new contract extension with Manchester City.
The news was revealed by transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Tuesday afternoon.
A new contract proposal was sent in by Man City to the player yesterday.
It is believed that the player is increasing swayed by the offer and inclined to put pen to paper on a new deal.
Walker’s contract is due to expire in the summer of 2024.
German giants, Bayern Munich, had, earlier, agreed personal terms with the player with a view to placing a bid to Man City.
Those overtures have now been turned down by the English Champions as they remain keen on retaining the services of the experienced fullback.
The length of the new contract offer Man City have proposed to the player is not yet confirmed, however.
Kyle Walker is part of the City side that won the treble last season under Manager, Pep Guardiola.
