Liverpool Agree Deal With Southampton For Lavia
LIVERPOOL have agreed a deal with Southampton for Midfielder, Romeo Lavia.
The agreement worth £60m was done this Monday morning as called by Jacob Steinberg of The Guardian.
Liverpool’s bid trumps that of Chelsea, who bid £55m for the Belgian.
The Blues were believed to have agreed personal terms already with the holding midfielder.
The report indicates that Liverpool now have to convince the player to join.
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will match Liverpool’s Latest offer or better it.
The Reds will hope this transfer does not resemble the saga of Moises Caicedo, who the Reds had agreed a British record fee for with Brighton only for the player to say “No” to the deal.
