LIVERPOOL have hijacked Moises Caicedo from Chelsea with an English transfer record bid.
The Reds have tabled a total package bid up to £111 in the early hours of Friday.
The news comes as a shock seeing as Chelsea were in pole position to buy the Ecuadorian.
The blues’ last bid of £80m was turned down by Brighton days ago.
Chelsea still have a chance, though, of clinching the deal as Brighton have sounded out a bidding war, with the holding midfielder to be sold to the highest bidder.
The Blues will now have to match Liverpool’s offer or better it.
If all goes to plan for Liverpool, Moises Caicedo will be wearing the red jersey by Friday and in line for theirEnglish Premier League season opener Vs Chelsea on Sunday.
