REIGNING English Champions, Manchester City, have made a verbal approach fro West Ham midfielder, Lucas Pacqueta.
The bid to the Hammers was put in early Wednesday morning.
The verbal discussion with West Ham is worth a total package of £70m.
The figure is, however, deemed “not enough” by the Hammers, who want more for Brazilian star.
It will be recalled that Pacqueta joined West Ham only last summer.
Poaching him away from the Hammers will not come easy, but Man City will keep trying for their target.
Manager, Pep Guardiola, is believed to be a big fan of the player and the main reason Man City are prepared to go all out for the Brazilian.
