‘MC Oluomo Saved me From Alaafin’ Queen Badirat

Badirat Olaitan Adeyemi popularly known as Queen Ola cleared the air over having an entanglement with MC Oluomo – the controversial Lagos transporter, while she was married to the late Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.

She made this known while reacting to a story where she was listed as one of the many concubines of Oluomo in a story that went viral recently.

Queen Ola begins the story this way, saying: “This is not a secret because I personally told people about it. Long story short, my baby daddy put restrictions on my international passport before he died, and I didn’t know. I was travelling for Umrah last year in December and I was detained by DSS for 2 days.

She further clarified that MC Oluomo was the one who rescued her during her ordeal. The queen continued; “the instruction he (Alaafin) gave them was to detain me and transfer me to Abuja, claiming that I ran away with the kids – my own kids o. My phones and everything were seized, and it was only my sister who knew where I was because we were both on board. She called everybody she could for help, but they couldn’t do anything except Oluomo who came to my aid because my mum cried to Igwe, and I was set free.”

Badirat Adeyemi further emphasised the reasons she can’t turn against MC Oluomo, even if everyone dislikes him,

“I will forever be indebted to him. I didn’t see anyone and me not coming here to call anybody out doesn’t mean that I should accept anything thrown at me. I couldn’t eat or bathe for 2 days. It was the morning of the 3rd day I was set free. Just because I didn’t come here to say everything that happened to me after I left the palace like others doesn’t mean you all should judge me,’’ she said.

Badirat Adeyemi, further elaborated on the pain and anguish she went through when she was with her late husband, Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamide Adeyemi:

“This same man froze my account when I left so that the kids and I couldn’t feed on our own, until I begged people for money. I was locked up in the palace for weeks before I escaped by jumping the fence. They lied that I was dating King Wasiu Ayinde(K1) but I kept quiet. They peddled a lot of lies against me. I have held a lot of pain and me being an introvert doesn’t mean I should let everything slide.”.
