THE Government of Nigeria has assured striking aviation workers that the requested adjustment of the minimum wage would be paid soon.
This was disclosed on Monday as the country’s Ministry of Aviation expressed displeasure at the industrial action embarked on by the workers.
In a statement, the Ministry said efforts had been made to address the workers’ demands.
The Ministry in the statement signed by its spokesman, Oluseyi Odutayo, described the strike as unnecessary, adding that it would increase the hardship by Nigerians as well as lead to economic losses.
