MOVIE REVIEW … (Strangers)

… An Inspiring Narrative

By Bolatito Adebayo

It is a slow-burn narrative; the plot and scenes develop slowly, methodically, and eventually got to a predictable end.

Nevertheless, I have mixed feelings about this movie, first I like it because it is an inspiring movie that is set to motivate young people not  to give up.

Secondly, Stranger’s address themes like depression, kindness, education, and so on which is creatively illustrated in the movie.

More so, the acting is impeccable, and although it is obvious that the budget of the movie is tight, the director Biodun Stephan proved to the audience that a movie doesn’t need all the luxury to be a good one.

On the flip side,  I expected a more intense climax because of the plot build up.Also,a sudden sensation of excitement is missing too.

Right from the first scene, I knew what was going to happen and that was exactly what happened..

Aside from that, it’s a simple story well told.
