Reports say Napoli want everybody to be in agreement before the African Footballer of the year joins the Turkish side without option to buy – for free, as long as they cover his salary of nearly €11m per season.
Considering the alternative was for him to sit in the stands until the transfer market reopens in January, this was the only real option for all of them to accept.
However, it is not quite done yet, because Napoli want some guarantees that their investment is safe.
The contract that Osimhen signed in December 2023 only runs to June 2026, because all parties had intended for him to be sold this summer.
