NECO Commences 2023 Marking, Set September Result Release Date
The National Examinations Council (NECO) has began marking the examination scripts for its 2023 school-based senior secondary certificate examination(SSCE).
This much was disclosed to Nigerian daily, Nigerian Tribune, by the Head of Information and Public Relations of NECO, Mr Azeez Sani.
He stated that the marking began on Saturday, September 2.
The body is expected to complete the making exercise in two weeks time.
Sani noted that a total of 1, 205,888 million candidates registered for the exam nationwide, comprising of 601,074 males and 584,814 females.
In a message to candidates who sat for the exam, Sani insisted that their results will be released in September for use in the ongoing admission process into the universities and other tertiary schools, as well as for other purposes.
Sani called on the state governments who haven’t paid their students’ examination fees to comply swiftly.
