MANCHESTER UNITED confirmed the signing of Scandinavian striker, Rasmus Højlund, on Saturday.
The former Atalanta forward arrives at Old Trafford in a staggering £64m deal.
While United’s fans jubilate the signing, news has just broke that the player will be unavailable for the season’s opening games.
It has been revealed that Højlund picked up an injury while on preseason tour with Italian side, Atalanta.
Reports say he is training, though, but will take a few weeks to reach full match fitness.
This comes as a blow to the Manchester outfit who would much rather have liked to launch Hojlund straight into the thick of things as they compete for the league and other titles.
