THE Indian Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TSNAB) has arrested a Nigerian drug dealer known as Ogbaugu David Uka over drugs possession.
This much was confirmed by TSNAB director, Hyderabad police commissioner CV Anand.
264 ecstasy pills worth 10.5 lakh were found on the suspect Police confirmed.
According to police report, the suspect impersonates as a Pastor and aids other drug smugglers.
The Police say he is connected to smugglers and peddlers in Hyderabad–where he landed to distribute the drugs.
“He also claims himself as chairman of All India Nigerian Students and Community Association. The objective of this association is to arrange bails and provide legal assistance to drug offenders from Nigeria who get arrested in India,” Anand explained about the suspect.
The suspect is said to have been using a fake visa upon arrest and had purchased several Sim Cards for the purpose of his criminal enterprise.
Police say the suspect also how’s by different aliases.
A criminal case has now been criminal case was registered against the suspect in Bengaluru by Karnataka police for violation of the NDPS Act.
