The Lagos State Police Command has saved 9 children from being coerced into cult initiation in Mushin, Lagos.
This was revealed command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin via the Twitter handle on Thursday.
According to Hundeyin, the children were aged aged between of nine to fourteen years.
He noted that the children incisions on their lower lips.
“We need to strengthen the family unit! Nine children, the youngest, 9, and oldest, 14, were rescued during/after forced initiation into cultism in the Mushin area of Lagos State.
The spokesman stated that further investigations will be carried out.
“The investigation is ongoing,” Hundeyin assured.
